Students majoring in Philosophy are expected to have read and understood fairly well the different philosophical theories, have critically evaluated them by means of writing research papers or doing oral reports, and have creatively charted their own life plans which perfectly coincide with their abilities, interest, and beliefs in life as a result of thorough and rigorous philosophical reflection at the end of their four-year studies.
The program offers a sound preparation for students who are planning to take up graduate studies in philosophy here and abroad, for those who want to pursue a career in law, for the seminarians who need a strong philosophical foundation before proceeding to theological studies, and for those in other related disciplines which require intellectual and moral integrity.
