TESDA – Accredited Short Course Program Offerings

The Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC) is the technical training arm of the mother institution, the University of San Jose – Recoletos, Cebu City. Founded on the charisma of USJR to expand its service to humanity, the center intends to provide cost-effective technical-vocational training and serves as an avenue of endless opportunities.

Computer Programming NC IV

The PROGRAMMING NC IV Qualification consists of competencies that are required for developing or writing program codes using a personal computer or workstation as part of a systems development team.

  • Computer Programming NC IV (252 hours)

CECSD - Java NC IV

Provides the multiple skills needed by a programmer to be productive in a real world software development environment. It should take the participant through the basic of JAVA and relational databases with focus on object-oriented thinking. It should provide them with solid foundations in web programming, frameworks and software engineering.

  • CECSD – Java (240 hours)

CESD - Oracle

Oracle gives students a thorough knowledge needed by the industry using the Oracle Database and Oracle Development Tools.

  • CESD – Oracle NC IV (160 hours)

CESD - Microsoft.Net NC IV

Provides the needs of the industry for well-trained Microsoft developers who can build web application using VB, ASP.NET and ADO.NET and who have good grasp of the requirements and environment for enterprise systems development.

  • CESD – Microsoft.Net NC IV (240 hours)

Computer Hardware Servicing NC II

This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a Computer Service Technician in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as installing, maintaining, configuring, and diagnosing computer system and networks.

  • Computer Hardware Servicing NC II (392 Hours)

Medical Transcription NC II

This course is designed to develop knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills in preparing medical reports from dictated recordings made by physicians and other health care professionals. It covers specialized competencies such as using business technology, using medical terminology to carry out tasks, and producing text from audio transcription.

  • Medical Transcription NC II (For Non-med/Med professionals) (396 hours)

Medical Transcription NC II

This course is designed to develop knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills in preparing medical reports from dictated recordings made by physicians and other health care professionals. Dressmaking NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of a Dressmaker in accordance with industry standards.

  • Dressmaking NC II (275 hours)

Tailoring NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and desirable work attitude in Tailoring NC II.

  • Tailoring NC II (275 hours)

Bookkeeping NC III

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of Bookkeepers in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies on journalizing transactions, posting transactions, preparing trial balance, preparing financial reports and reviewing internal control system.

  • Bookkeeping NC III (292 hours)

Cookery NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude in preparing and cooking hot, cold, sauces/dressings and desserts. It also includes competencies in workplace communication, teamwork, personal hygiene, safety in the use of hand tools and equipment, and housekeeping.

  • Cookery NC II (436 hours)

Bread and Pastry Production NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude in bread and pastry production to prepare and present desserts, and prepare and display petits fours in accordance with industry standards.

  • Bread and Pastry Production NC II (141 hours)

Housekeeping NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of housekeeping services, preparing guest’s rooms, providing valet/butler services, laundering linen and guest’s clothes, cleaning premises and equipment in accordance with industry standards.

  • Housekeeping NC II (436 hours)

Computer Systems Services NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of housekeeping services, preparing guest’s rooms, providing valet/butler services, laundering linen and guest’s clothes, cleaning premises and equipment in accordance with industry standards.

  • Computer Systems Services NC II (280 hours)

Trainer Methodology Level I

This qualification is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, positive attitude and work values of the learner in accordance with the prevailing standards in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. This encompasses competencies required of a Technical- Vocational Trainer to perform the tasks in the areas of instructional delivery/facilitation, competency assessment, and maintenance of training resources/facilities.

  • Trainers Methodology Level I (264 hours)

Technical Drafting NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and desirable work attitude of a draftsman or CAD operator. It covers the basic, common, core and elective competencies i.e. prepare architectural, structural, electrical and electronic, plumbing and sanitary, and mechanical layouts and details using both CAD system and manual drawing methods.

  • Technical Drafting NC II (158 hours)

Bookkeeping (Mobile Bus)

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of Bookkeepers in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies on journalizing transactions, posting transactions, preparing trial balance, preparing financial reports and reviewing internal control system.

  • Bookkeeping (Mobile Bus) (292 hours)

Machining NC II

This course is designed to equip individual with operational skills, knowledge and attitudes of a machinist in accordance with industry standards. It covers the competencies required to select and use hand and power tools to perform complex bench operations, skills to set up and turn workplace to drawing specifications. It also covers the skills required to set up, mill, and grind work piece to drawing specifications.

  • Machining NC II (337 hours)

Machining NC I

This qualification is designed to develop knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of Machinist NC I. it covers the competencies required to Perform Bench Work, Turn Work Piece, Mill Work Piece and Grind Work Piece.
