The University of San Jose-Recoletos(USJ-R) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) engaging the two Taiwan universities in collaborative undertakings in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
These two schools are the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taipei and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) in Tainan.
The three schools pledged to do collaborative undertakings specifically in (1) research undertakings for faculty and students, (2) curriculum review, and (3) exchange programs for visiting professorships and students.
USJ-R was represented by CICCT Dean Gregg Victor Gabison and his faculty members.
After the MOU signing, the faculty members were given a day tour of the different computing laboratories and other facilities like dedicated incubation labs for gaming, multimedia, IOT, and others.
Other than the university visits, the college also visited Acer Being Lab, exhibiting their current technology in IOT through its Cloud Professor Technology.
The trip lasted from May 22 to 26 in 2018.
