Data Privacy Policy

 

At the University of San Jose – Recoletos (USJ-R), we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of personal and sensitive information. This Data Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the data we obtain from students, faculty, staff and other individuals associated with the university.

 

  1. Data Collection and Usage:

We collect personal information from individuals for various purposes related to academic, administrative, and research activities. This information may include but is not limited to:

  • Contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  • Educational records (transcripts, grades, enrollment status)
  • Employment information (position, department, work history)
  • Financial information (tuition payments, scholarships, grants)
  • Research data (collected for academic and research purposes)

 

We use this data for legitimate purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Providing educational services and support
  • Managing student enrollment and academic progress
  • Administering employment and payroll

University provides trainings to its faculty and employees regarding data privacy policies and practices to ensure compliance with this policy and relevant regulations.

This Data Privacy Policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to the university community through appropriate channels.
