Josenian graduates have until July 31, 2023 to back-up the files that they stored in their USJ-R email and Google drive accounts.
After the said date, the IT Department will deactivate the accounts in order to optimize the University’s data storage.
“Many of our graduates continue to use their school email address (USJ-R email address) for personal purposes leading to an increase in data storage consumption within the university’s Google account,” stated in a memo by the President released on June 26.
In this connection, the University shared the following guidelines:
- School email (USJ-R email) of students shall be automatically deactivated once they graduate.
- Students who graduated prior and during the 2nd semester of AY 2022-2023 are given the opportunity to back up any important emails or files they wish to retain from their school email account on or before July 31, 2023.
- All school emails of graduated students before and during the 2nd semester of AY 2022-2023 shall be deactivated after July 31, 2023.
- Graduating students (preferably during their final/terminal semester) are advised to back up any important emails or files that they wish to retain from their school email account.
