Embracing a blended learning modality, the tertiary level will start implementing F2F classes on September 12, 2022. Basic Education is also implementing a progressive F2F approach to align with DepEd’s mandate.
Among the points which were highlighted in the orientation is the detention of individuals in the University’s new isolation room if ever they show symptoms. The Contact Tracing Team shall track the people in contact with the patient. The Risk Assessment Team assesses the conditions of these people for further action. The surveillance team monitors the patient closely.
“There shall be no suspension of classes or work, however, all these activities shall automatically shift to an online modality until the lifting of the granular or university lockdown,” stated in the document.
A disinfection will also be done campus-wide when someone tests positive.
There shall be an automatic suspension of face-to-face classes if the location of the University is declared Alert Level 4 or 5. However, classes and work shall right away shift to online modality.
Lay administrators, faculty, office professionals, academic non-teaching faculty, or READS with COVID-19 symptoms shall inform the immediate head or READS In-Charge.
