The University President himself inspected the Basak Campus today (February 3) to ensure that everything is in place for the exams on February 4 and 6.
This year is the first time that the bar examination for aspiring lawyers in the Philippines is held in locations outside the National Capital Region (NCR). The University of San Jose – Recoletos is among the prestigious schools in the country chosen as a venue for this historic endeavor by the Supreme Court (SC).
The examinees will get to use one table of their own with their own power outlets. The technical team checked and tested the internet connection in the campus to ensure uninterrupted connection during the examination together with service providers from Converge and PLDT.
Health protocols will also be enforced and the University’s medical team will also be on standby. Temperature check systems, sanitizers, and signages are also provided for convenience.
Like the examinees, all the USJ-R employees who will serve tomorrow and on Sunday underwent an antigen test today before they were provided with their respective passes by the SC.
The PNP and other uniformed personnel are also on standby to maintain peace and order.
To date, preparations are going smoothly. According to SC representatives at the campus, they will be ready to accommodate the examinees as early as 4 AM at USJ-R Basak Campus.
Josenians are also advised that all regular transactions and office work at the Basak Campus are temporarily suspended until February 6 due to the bar exam. Those who want to process their requests or pay may come to the USJ-R Main Campus instead.
