The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognizes the College of Information, Computer and Communications Technology (CICCT) of the University of San Jose – Recoletos as Center of Excellence for IT Education. The awarding ceremony was conducted on May 17, 2016 at the CHED Main Office C.P. Garcia Ave, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila. The awarding was attended by the Dean of CICCT, Dr. Gregg Victor D. Gabison together with the University President, Rev. Fr. Cristopher C. Maspara, OAR and the rest of the lay administrators. USJ-R was also recognized in the following programs: Center of Excellence in Teacher Education, Center of Development in Industrial Engineering, Center of Development in Accountancy, and Center of Development in Business Administration.
