Two USJ-R professors from the College of Education received the Microsoft Ambassador’s Training Program.

The said program trains teachers in the Philippines to use Microsoft digital tools to empower them in designing lessons integrating ICT use in the classrooms.

Likewise, the program aims to provide teachers with soft skills like leadership trainings, personality development and many other teacher capability enhancements.

Among the 35 educators carefully selected from the Visayas Regions to receive the sponsored training was Mr. Englevert P.Reyes, who is a fulltime faculty of the College of Teacher’s Education.

Incidentally, Mr. Jestoni P. Babia, the Chairman of the Department of Teacher Education, was awarded an equivalency of the said training after having been invited to be among the speakers of Microsoft during the first module.

“This program helps build teachers in designing 21st Century teaching and learning methodologies in the classroom”, shared Professor Reyes.

For Professor Babia: “This training program prepares teachers for ASEAN qualifications and for global educational competencies”.

The Microsoft Ambassador’s Program is actually a series of modular trainings first commenced last August this year and will continue within the next few years to come.
