The Supreme Court designated the USJ-R Basak Campus as one of the 14 local testing centers (LTCs) for the upcoming Bar Examinations on September 17, 20, and 24, 2023.
In preparation for the exams, the Basak Campus will be exclusively used by the Supreme Court personnel and examinees from September 14 to 24, 2023.
All classes in the Basic Education Department (including Senior High School in the Main Campus) as well as classes of the School of Education and Computer Studies will be transitioned online as advised by a memo released by the Vice President for Academics and Research on September 1.
Face-to-face classes in the Basak Campus will resume on September 25, 2023 (Monday) for those under the School of Education, School of Computer Studies, and Elementary Department. Meanwhile, face-to-face classes for the Senior High School (Main and Basak) and Junior High School will resume on September 26, 2023 (Tuesday).
This is the second time that USJ-R will serve as a venue for the said regionalized and digitized examinations for aspiring lawyers. In the Visayas, there are only three (3) LTCs namely USJ-R, University of San Carlos, and Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation.
