The Singaporean Government will sponsor the educational fees of qualified USJ-R nursing students and ensure that they can practice their profession in Singapore after graduation and getting a license.
This after Kilsa Global, Talent Angels, and USJ-R signed a Memorandum of Agreement on August 22 to implement the International Nurses Onboarding Program.
This grant is primarily meant for incoming third year or fourth year nursing students under the School of Allied Medical Sciences.
Kilsa will facilitate the screening of applicants who are qualified to avail of the scholarship which is funded by Singapore’s Ministry of Health, after formal endorsement from the School of Allied Medical Sciences – Nursing Department and Scholarship Center of the University of San Jose-Recoletos.
After graduation, the selected scholar must take the nursing licensure exam and serve for four years in Singapore.
Kilsa Philippines Managing Partner Charles Lim expressed that he is excited for the project because USJ-R is the first school which will benefit from this project. Aside from the study aid, he shared that they can help facilitate more partnerships between USJ-R and Singapore.
