The Royal Institution Singapore (RIS) once again granted International Certifications Levels (ICL) to graduates of Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC) last July 7.
For the first batch of 2018, over 146 graduates with diverse professions were gathered at the Audio Visual Room of Basak Campus to get their certifications for levels 1, 2 and 3. Included on the number are USJ-R’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) graduates, Department of Education (DepEd) scholars, and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Central Command.

RIS is a global, professional membership institution that was incorporated in the year 2003, in which later on registered as a company in the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore.
“I am here in behalf of all to express that it is a great honor to be recognized as one of the RI’s accolades; and pleased, honored, and humbled to be accepted to join past recipients who we have long admired and respected,” RITTC Director Dr. Mary Ann Roble expressed in her speech.
Dr. Helen Molano, Executive Director of the RIS Philippines, stated that they partnered with USJ-R because of the high quality graduates produced by Recoletos training centers. RITTC was chosen as a partner of RIS Philippines last year of 2017.
“This is an opportunity for the students, especially to those who cannot go to college because their National Certification (NC) will be given an International Certification Level,” Roble said.
She continued that the graduates could now compete globally and apply internationally with the ICL they received.
Alter Toroy, one of the graduates who received a Level 3 certification, also expressed his gratitude as to receiving the fruit of his hard work.
“It’s a great opportunity to be part of this to have additional credentials for future job purposes. Dako kaayo ni siya’g gamit para pag pang-apply og higher positions,” he added.
The University is now on preparing for the certification of the second batch for this year.
