The Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with USJ-R to conduct exchange programs and share researches in the field of Information Technology (IT).
Two professors from STUST namely Dr. Aaron Raymond See and Professor Andrew Chang visited the two Josenian campuses last June 29.
They brought with them the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between their university and USJ-R. Contained in the document are the agreed engagements in research specifically in the fields of computing and IT. It also included faculty and student exchanges covering internships and immersions.
This is one of the directions set by University President Rev. Fr. Cristopher Maspara, OAR to produce topnotch graduates that can represent the country in the global arena and linkage engagements with top universities from different countries in the area of research and pedagogy.
STUST is one of Taiwan’s top university and has cooperation agreements with 211 colleges and universities across the globe. In the Philippines, STUST has also linked with the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and De La Salle University.
We envision the University of San Jose-Recoletos to be a premier Gospel and Community-oriented educational institution committed to lead in instruction, research, community engagement, and innovation in order to transform Josenians into proactive and compassionate leaders, creators of communion, and dynamic partners of society in the 21st Century.
